The blog post page, within the blog section of your dashboard, allows you to manage all of your blog posts, both published and unpublished and allows you to create new blog posts. On this list you can see the blog ID number, Title, Date Created and Publish status, which can be searched using the search toolbar to reduce the amount of time spent scrolling to find the one you are looking for. You also have the ability to edit and delete posts in the main list.
To edit a post, simply click on the blue ‘Edit Post’ button, which will allow you to edit the titles, URL, featured image, publish date, meta description, author, and so on. You have full control over your blog as if you were creating a new one, so this action can be used to tweak any spelling mistake you might find or to change the picture if the one you previously used wasn’t correct (see picture below).
To add a new blog post, simply click on the blue ‘Create New Post’ button, which will allow you to create a blog post from start to finish. Similar to step 10.iii.i, you have full control over what is included and this can be edited at any time. Initially, this will be created as a draft, unless you use the toggle tool to create the post as a published version (see picture below).
On this page, you can also categorise your blog, reference step 10.ii which will allow your customers to find the blog post quicker through a direct category. Similarly, you can add tags and meta description which will encourage people to click through onto your website. For extra information and aid during this process, simply hover over the '?' icons where necessary.
