4. vii Content Editor – Text Editor




The simple to use text editor can be found by hovering over a text box, this will display a blue box that signals the ability to edit it (see image above).

Once you have clicked on the text in the blue box, it will display black text editing options. You can view the HTML code, format the text, use Bold, Italics, Underlining and Strikethrough text features, create lists and tables, hyperlink and change the colour. The format option, which is the second from the left, will give you the text options, for example, heading 1, Heading 2, Normal text and so on… 

To save your changes simply click on the tick, alternatively you can discard your changes by clicking on the cross. 















If you are wanting to add a hyperlink to a certain piece of text, simply highlight the text and click on the hyperlink edit button (second from the right). This ‘Insert Link’ box will be displayed on your screen for you to fill in the relevant fields (see image above). Once you are done, click on the blue 'insert' button to save your edit. 

4.vii.ii Text Colour

To change the colour of the text, simply click the 'A' icon which is highlighted in the picture above. This will allow you to either highlight the text or change the colour of the text. To add more custom font colours to this area you will need to visit the settings section in the Admin Dashboard – or Article 11.iii.
