7.iii Reports – Abandoned Carts

On the abandoned carts page, you can manage and view any of the carts abandoned by your customers. You can see from the list (see picture above) that there are currently 6 abandoned carts, you are also able to view this number by hovering over the graph (see picture below).

In the list of abandoned carts, it will display details such as date, name, email, status etc. If a user has abandoned their cart, whilst logged in, you will have the relevant details to email them allowing you to potentially recover the cart. (these users will sit in the recoverable section of the graph.) To recover a user, you have the ability to send emails to them at different times after the cart has been abandoned. A list of these emails will be displayed in the ‘Emailed’ tab and the number of emails sent will form the third column in the graph (see picture below).  Also, hovering over the '?' icon will provide information about the columns in the graph.

The users who then end up completing their purchase as a result of the emails will end up in the final list/column in the graph which is ‘Recovered’.

7.iii.i Email Templates

You have the ability to create and customise three different email templates, which can be sent at a certain time increment after the cart has been abandoned. To edit these templates, simply click on the blue ‘Edit’ button on the relevant email template and fill in the required details (see picture below).

You also have the ability to enable or disable these templates, which can be switched via the two options using the toggle tool (see image below).
