5.ii Products – Categories: Product List





The list of products in each product category is displayed along the actions line in a green button named ‘products’, it also displays how many products fall under this category. (See picture above, seating has 16 products). 




Once you click on the products button, you will have an overview of all the products in this category. Tip: To switch to another category just use the drop-down menu at the top rather than navigating backwards and forwards to the product categories page.  On this page, you can search through all products which is handy if you are looking for a specific one and you can display the entries in multiples of 50, 100, 500 or all. 


5.ii.i Bulk Action


If you want to perform a bulk action against a few or all the products, the first action you’ll have to take is to use the tick box system down the left-hand side. (Tick multiple products one by one or to tick all the products, use the tick box that is at the top in the grey bar, left of the question mark). Once you have ticked the products that you want, they will turn dark blue. 

Following this, go to ‘Bulk Actions’ and click on the action that you want to perform, this can be delete, set categories, active, inactive or set sale price. This is a handy tool that will speed up processes and allow you to work more effectively. 

5.ii.ii Export Products 


If for any reason you need to export your products simply choose between selected products, a product category or all products, on the export products drop-down list (see image above). 


This will automatically trigger the system to create an export file, which will take a minute or so to load. 


Finally, the export will be complete and a download of the export will be stored on your device (in this case a computer) and you will be able to open, view and print that yourself.
