5.iv Products – Brands
On this page, you have an overview of the different brands that you have on your website. You can see if they are active or hidden from the main navigation, this is also where you can edit and delete brands altogether.
5.iv.i Add New Brand
Adding a new brand to your site can be done by simply clicking on the ‘Add New Brand’ button which is shown in the picture above.
The create a new brand page has various fields for you to fill out which will make up the brand listing. For example, brand name, page title, description text, brand image, etc. This will allow your customers to search the product by brand rather than category.
Most of these fields that require input will have a question mark icon, if you hover over this icon it will display a text box with information that will aid you in this process.
Once you are finished simply click on the blue 'Save' button and your new brand will appear on the list.
