5.xi Products - Discount Code

5.xi Products – Discount Code


The discount code page allows you to manage all of your current and previous discount codes. As you can see, the discounts have different colours: 

  • The green discounts have an active status which means they are live and can be used now.
  • The orange discounts are still active however, the end date has passed and therefore your customers cannot use this code anymore. 
  • The red discounts are no longer in use, as their status is inactive.
  •  The ! icon is displayed when today's date exceeds the end date of that discount code. 

5.xi.i Create Discount Code

To create a new discount code, simply click on the ‘Create Discount Code’ button, which will take you to the create a new discount code page. Here you will be required to enter information in the required fields such as discount code (the code your customers will enter), deduction, apply to, availability, start date, end date and active status (see picture below). Once you are finished, simply click create discount to save your changes and this code will be added to the list.
